December/2015 Round Up

Goodness gracious me, what a year this one has been! 2015 has been a crazy but super fun ride. Use Good Stuff has seen a lot of support and success over the last 8 months, and we are very appreciative for every bit of that. We hope that 2016 will bring even more wonderful things, and we look forward to sharing them with our stunning audience (that’s you!). So, what have we covered on the blog this month? Honestly, I’ve been so all over the show these last few weeks I’m not even sure. So let’s recap together!

Poppy introduced us to 2 very special new family members, and gave some really great advice for reducing rubbish during Christmas time. Then, E Cus dropped in with a great post about gifts you can make from stuff in your own backyard. This included jams, curd and even a cheeky floral arrangement. James wrote a piece about the inevitability of climate change and what it means for our future. It was all topped off with another brilliant guest post, this time about the tragedy of the commons, written by Simon Holdsworth. A pretty good month over all, if you ask me!

I will take this opportunity to say one last massive thank you to everyone who has supported us this year. To the businesses who have worked with us, the people who have read our things and shared them around, our awesome guest bloggers, and our friends and families who have encouraged us along the way. You are all wonderful and we wouldn’t be here without you. We hope we have played a part in teaching you something you didn’t know before. And, hopefully, we have inspired you to start your journey to a more sustainable life!

So, that’s us for 2015! We will be back mid-January with more fun yarns. I’m currently on a ferry somewhere between Wellington and Picton, making my way back to Mum and Dad for Christmas. Whatever you are doing with your holidays, I hope you are safe and well and enjoying yourself. Merry Christmas, Use Good Stuffers! All the best to you and yours. See you in 2016!
